I love the idea of remote control (if you know me, you know that much) and for HDR bracketing (or even just focus bracketing) you HAVE to have a totally touchless way to remote control things. I even ordered a lensmate filter tube, just in case I -do- like the a620.
combine that with reports of very good optics and PQ and it sounds like a winner. then I followed some links and more links and then found that the breeze sys is supposed to be very good for canon powershots. In fact, it might have been YOU who first tipped me off to the 620. I keep bumping into you - why is that? (LOL). and then some electronic timer that beeps when it expires but NOT on keypresses (that is important since I leverage the beep to retrigger myself). You need a parallax (brand) BASIC stamp (version 1 - the smaller cheaper simpler stamp). the data is all there in the dpr post, more or less.
